Focus Cardiology was established by A/Prof Justin Mariani as a diagnostic cardiology service for his patients at the Reservoir Private consulting rooms. His patients in other clinics, including his main rooms at East Melbourne, are also able to access the diagnostic cardiology service.

Diagnostic cardiology is becoming harder to access at an affordable price point. We've made the decision to offer a bulk bill service for echocardiography, stress echocardiography and other services. This is separate to consulting, but runs in parallel.

A/Prof Justin Mariani is fully trained in echocardiography through his advanced training and subsequent clinical fellowship. Associate reporting cardiologists and all cardiac technicians and sonographers that work with Focus Cardiology are fully trained and accredited, including being employed through the public health system.
